Poland’s First Capital? AI Film About Gniezno
Wena wants to make a chronicle episode about Gniezno, but two men from Poznań stand in her way. One challenges the myth of Poland’s first capital, while the other, a renowned actor, refuses to act with AI. For the film to be made, Wena has to win both disputes.
This episode is slightly different. Beyond telling the story of the place, it also explores the relationship between AI filmmaking and art. The conversation is led by acclaimed stage and television actor Michał Grudziński and Wena — the series’ protagonist and an AI character. Their dialogue scene combines camera footage with imagery generated by artificial intelligence.
